Honouring Lord of Bei Dou on 7th Day of Lunar 12 Month (臘月初七上敬北斗九皇君)

It's the last lunar month of Ren Chen Dragon Year (壬辰龍年), while everyone was busy preparing for the ushering in of the new lunar year, "up there - Deities" are also busily preparing to "distribute" the necessary blessing to the Living Beings in this Mortal, in order to have a good Health & Prosperity Luck to usher in the new lunar year.

As usual, on the 7th Day of Lunar 12 Month (農曆臘月初七日), Nine Emperor Lords of the Great Northern Dipper (北斗九皇星君) will perform their last Descending to the Mortal Realm for their Distribution of Blessing before they conduct their Inspection on the 28th Day of Lunar 12 Month (農曆臘月廿八日巡視天下).

In Taoist Culture, 7th Day of Lunar 12 Month is considered a Good & Important Day for the Taoists & Chinese to accord respect to the Dipper Lords.

For Ren Chen Dragon Year, it falls on 18 Jan 2013, a Friday. And the auspicious timing (吉時上敬北斗九皇君) for the Honouring will be at 5.00pm till 7.00pm (酉時) and 9.00pm till 11.00pm (亥時).

For those who are not able to participate in any greater scale of Li Dou Ceremony (禮斗法會), you may wish to light 3 Lamps/Candles (斗燭) at home on the Altar, dedicating to the Dipper Lords.
