In Taoism, she was one of the few Lady Immortals that were being appointed to be "in-charged" of Spiritual Skills and the Imparting of the Official Taoist Teachings.
On 15th Day of Lunar 2 Month (農曆二月十五日), Taoists will celebrate her Manifestation Anniversary aka Birthday (為九天玄女華誕) & on 9th Day of Lunar 9 Month (農曆九月初九日), the Taoists will celebrate her Anniversary of descending into the Mortal Realm of conducting Salvation for the Sufferings or Assisting the Needy (為九天玄女下降助世之期).
