Jurong East Feng Shan Si conducting Annual Thanksgiving Ceremony 2012 (新加坡裕廊東鳳山寺啟建辛卯年答謝神恩科儀)

On the 14th Day of Lunar 12 Month (07 Jan 2011, a Saturday), Jave was at Jurong East Feng Shan Si (新加坡裕廊東鳳山寺) to conduct the Annual Thanksgiving Ceremony (答謝神恩).

In here, Jave will again like to express my sincerest Thank to ALL the Committee of Jurong East Feng Shan Si to engage Jave this Year for the Ceremony.

At about 1.30Pm, after conducting the Thanksgiving Ceremony at Sengkang, Jave and Vabien had arrived at the Premises of Jurong East Feng Shan Si and always, we received a warm welcome by Sis Poh Choo and her Mum.

Upon arriving at Jurong East Feng Shan Si, All the Offerings were already being prepared and without further delay, the Thanksgiving started.

With short reporting, inviting of Deities and reading out of the Names of the Committee Members, the Thanksgiving reached its Peak of Chanting and asking for instruction on whether the Ceremony was being accepted by the Deities and a Positive Yes Reply (聖筊) was granted to us almost immediately.

And with the Acceptance of the Deities, we proceed with the Sending-off of the Paper-offerings.

At about 2.30, the Ceremony ended smoothly. As Jave and Vabien had to rush to Royce’s side to discuss on the next day’s Thanksgiving at Tong Shan Tang (新加坡童善堂) and so we left after having a short chit-chat with Sis Poh Choo and her family.

Hope to see the Deities again in 2013 (壬辰年再見).

Million Thanks to Vabien for sharing with us the Pictures.
