Chinese Zodiacs Luck in Gui Si Year 2013 - Conflicts with Lord Tai Sui

Its again the period for Jave Wu to do the analysis of the Luck for the various Chinese Zodiacs for the Year of Snake (2013) aka Gui Si Year (癸巳蛇年), Taoist Calendar Year 7201 (道曆七千二百零一年) & Lunar Calendar aka Huang Li Year 4710 (黃曆四千七百一十年).

Huang Li aka Lunar Calendar was founded accordingly to the founding year by Yellow Emperor aka Huang Di

As for Taoist Calendar, many Taoists or People had been using the same calculation method as Lunar Calendar which is not very accurate. In here, Jave will like to use this opportunity to correct it back. According to records, Taoist Calendar should follow the founding year when the oldest painting of Nv Wa (女媧蛇身畫軸) was founded, which was 7201 years ago.

Ok, direct to the topic:

For Gui Si Year, the following Chinese Zodiacs will have some minor issues with Lord Tai Sui General Xu Dan

Direct Front-facing (Direct Conflict) with Lord Tai Sui of Gui Si Year:

Snake (正犯太歲: )

Lunar Age involved (農曆虛歲): 13, 25, 37, 49, 61, 73, 85, 97

Direct Back-facing (In-direct Conflict) with Lord Tai Sui of Gui Si Year:

Pig (正沖太歲: )

Lunar Age involved (農曆虛歲): 19, 31, 43, 55, 67, 79, 91

Adjacent Left-facing (Major-side Conflict) with Lord Tai Sui of Gui Si Year:

Tiger (偏沖太歲: )

Lunar Age involved (農曆虛歲): 16, 28, 40, 52, 64, 76, 88

Adjacent Right-facing (Minor-side Conflict) with Lord Tai Sui of Gui Si Year:

Monkey (刑沖太歲: )

Lunar Age involved (農曆虛歲): 22, 34, 46, 58, 70, 82, 94

For age Below or Of 12 & Above or Of 99 won’t be affected by the Conflicts or Issue-facing with Lord Tai Sui, so for those who have kids and elders of this Age-group, please do not worry so much .

For those who are Affected and needed the Assistance from Long Shan Men in getting the Spiritual Petition (安奉太歲疏文), please feel free to contact me at javecxwu@gmail.com or PM me.

Info on Lord Tai Sui of Gui Si Year & Individual Luck for each individual Zodiac will be introduced in the next few postings.

Know more about Kai Zhang Sheng Wang

On 18th & 19th Day of Lunar 11 Month (農曆冬月十八及十九日), in Hokkien Province, some Temples or the Tan Clan (閩南陳氏) will conduct Ceremonies to celebrate the Anniversary of Duke Kai Zhang aka Kai Zhang Sheng Wang (開漳聖王) or his Son or his Assistant.

During this Lunar 11 Month Celebration, usually we addressed DUke Kai Zhang as Lord Chen aka Chen Fu Da Ren (陳府大人) rather than the usual title that he got as Duke Kai Zhang.

In Singapore, only He Bi Shan Temple (新加坡何碧山宮), located at Yishun Ring Road Opps Blk 111, will held special Ceremony dedicated to him.

In here, is a series of 4 Videos Documentary, showing the history of Duke Kai Zhang, for those who are interested, feel free to visit the Video Links:

On behalf of ALL Long Shan Men descendants & disciples, Jave will like to thank Heavenly Master Zhang En Pu sincerely & with a faithful heart.

Dear All,

After Dong Zhi (

According to Chinese Custom & Taoist Practice Records, the Best & Accurate Day to pay respect to a the Lord Tai Sui of the New Lunar Year starts on Li Chun Day (

Offering Tang Yuan to Deities on Dong Zhi

It's time to honour the Deities & Ancestors before we consumed the wonderfully-made Tang Yuan aka Sweet Dumpings (湯圓).

Due to in Year of Snake aka 2013 (蛇年), there are only 12 Lunar Months, so for this year's Winter Solctise honouring, we will only prepare 12 Tang Yuan (can be 12 in each bowl or separated into 3 bowls), to significate Prosperity & Happiness for the upcoming year.

Video Clip on Praising of Lord Tai Yi

Dear all,

here's a video on the Paying Respect Praising of Heavenly Lord Tai Yi.

Usually this Praise is being sang/recited during the Ritual/Ceremony for the salvation of souls.

This Praise can be found in the Taoist Night Homework too.

Manifestation Anniversary of Salvation Lord Tai Yi 2012 (壬辰年太乙救苦天尊千秋聖誕)

Tai Yi Tian Zun (太乙天尊) aka Tai Yi Xun Sheng Jiu Tian Zun (太乙尋聲救苦天尊) or Tai Yi Zhen Ren (太乙真人).

In Taoism, he is the main key-person who is being appointed to take charge of the task of doing salvation for all the suffering souls, whether is to salvage them out of the suffering Realms or salvage them and bring them to the Eastern Palace for enjoying of eternal joyous.

During Taoist funeral wakes' rituals/ceremonies, Tai Yi Tian Zun will be invited and the Priests that conduct the Ritual/Ceremony must recite scriptures that are dedicated or associated with Tai Yi Tian Zun.

Different mantras are being recited too, in-order to assists the passed-on person to get the necessary blessing from Tai Yi Tian Zun.

In Big Salvation Ritual/Ceremony, the Taoist Priest will have to recite the Official Title of Tai Yi Tian Zun and also to visualize one self turning into Tai Yi Tian Zun while releasing the Positive Energy or Light Ray to do the salvation of the suffering souls.

Today, such Ritual/Ceremony can still be seen, but due to the engagement of Taoist Priest to conduct Funeral Ritual/Ceremony has dropped and so, not much people will be able to understand or see a Good "transformation" being done.

More Info:

Heavenly Lord Tai Yi aka Lord Tai Yi, the high ranking Taoist Deity that take charge of Salvations for the Sufferings and also the Pity-Souls.

According to Taoist History, Lord Tai Yi was being honoured by the Taoists far before any other Taoist Deities were being known and pay respect. From there, we were able to know that Lord Tai Yi was a highly-respect Deity in the whole Culture and Practice.

Due to the misunderstandings and certain mixture of belief, in Taoist Culture, there are 2 Manifestation Anniversaries for Lord Tai Yi, 1 in the Seventh Month and 1 in the Eleventh Month.

If we will to track back the Records of our Upright Taoist Culture, the actual Anniversary shall fall on the 11th Day of Lunar 11 Month.

Okay, back to the main Topic.

In Singapore, it is totally impossible to find a Temple or Altar that honoured Lord Tai Yi and so, for those who are keen and interested in paying your respect to him, you can visit any Chinese Temples, just prepare the necessary offerings as shown below and then place them on the Main Altar of the Temple, you will be able to pay your respect to Lord Tai Yi.

If you wish to pay respect at home, that will be more encourage-able.

And so, what to prepare?

According to our Chinese Custom & Folks Practice, here are some recommended items to be prepared for the paying respect:

1 Five Oranges (桔子)
2 Longevity Noodles (壽麵)
3 Longevity Peaches (壽桃)
4 Ang Ku Kueh (紅龜粿)
5 Huat Kueh (發糕)
6 Rice Wine (米酒)
7 Chinese Tea (茶)
8 Paper Offerings (紙料)
9 Candles (蠟燭)
10 Flowers or Lotus (鮮花或蓮花)

Once all these stuffs are prepared and ready, placed them on the Main Altar in the Temple.

1st, pay respect to the Heaven & the Main Deities in the Temple/House, then proceed to the Main Altar where the Offerings are being placed.

Make a Bow in front of the Offerings and then sincerely kneel down and proceed with the following Passage (for those who know how to recite the Bao Gao of Lord Tai Yi):
