Honouring of Tiger Deity on Jing Zhe Day (庚寅驚螫日之安奉虎神)

Start:     Mar 6, '10 08:00a
End:     Mar 6, '10 6:00p
Location:     Singapore, South, Telok Blangah Height

On the 6 Mar (Saturday), which is known as Jing Zhe Ri (驚螫日) in Taoist Context.

Telok Blangah Tee Kong Temple (萬壽山天公廟 - located at Telok Blangah Height next to Block 45) will be conducting a Ceremony for the Honouring of Tiger Deity (虎神).

For those who are interested, please do drop by after 8.00Am in the Morning.

At around 8.00Am sharp, the Invitation of Tiger Deity will be conducted, for those who are weak or got crushes with Tiger Deity, please try to avoid.

    Hi Jave, for those who are weak, are they advisable to pray tiger after 6 mar. One day after the event will be safe?
    How about those temple that do not allowed to burn joss paper, could i just placed the meat offering in order to pray?

    Master Jave, how do we know who are weak or got crushes with Tiger Deity? What are the things we need to prepare for the Honouring?

    Yes, usually to honour Tiger Deity on the next Day is better. But due to some Temple, they only engage Masters to perform on the Main Day and so, for those who wanted to go, can only go after the Invitation rather then on the Actual Timing.

    For those Temple without burning of Paper, that will be a Petty, cos while Honouring Tiger Deity, best is to burn off the Xiao Ren Paper.

    You can refer to the Luck reading of the 12 Zodiac for Geng Yin Year, there are indications for those who avoid Tiger Deity.

    Oh ..that mean better approach temples that got burn joss paper. This remind me of tanjong pagar seng ong beo which is famous at beat xiao ren

    Long Shan Men will be engaged to perform the Honouring of Tiger Deity on the 21st Day of Lunar 1 Month in Telok Blangah Height Tee Kong Temple, for those who are interested in joining in the Honouring, please do be at the Temple after 8.00Am.

    So the honouring at Telok Blangah Tee Kong Temple starts at 8am? If we attend we have to prepare the items mentioned in this link - http://javewu.multiply.com/reviews/item/369 ? How long will the honouring take? If we can't make it at 8am is there another timing?
