3) Magazine Road Bao Chi Gong
4) Sengkang Combined Temple (Tian Jun Fu, etc, Rear Hall)
5) Tanjong Pagar Pu Tuo Temple (Craig Road)
In the past, Feng Du Da Di is the one that in-charge of the Wandering Souls or some believed that he is the Main Deity that in-charge of summoning the Souls after people passed-on.
ReplyDeleteHis original duty is quite similar to Yan Luo Wang but yet, not that complete in the senses that he is not station in the Nether-World but in Feng Du City (a real physical location in China).
Cang Sheng, a Sage in Yellow Emperor's Era, who was being appointed to create Chinese Characters.
Jiu Huang Da Di or Xing Jun are actually what we addressed as Bei Dou Xing Jun.

As for the wearing of white, this is being influence by the Folks Culture in Thailand.
Cos in Folks Culture, Jiu Huang are the Sea Pirates and the Heros who gathered to over-thrown the Qing Dynasty and not the Heavenly Stars. Wearing of White is to do mourning for the passed-on Heros, so this is not the accurate culture of paying respect to Jiu Huang Da Di.
