This is a Taoist Scripture that being explained by the Supreme Lord aka Lao Jun while he met up with his 8000+ students in the Zi Wei Palace.
Supreme Lord explains that, for those who can constantly recite this Scripture, the Protecting Deities/Generals will be there to protect one self. Besides that, all un-necessary negative entities or encounters will be eliminated.
For those who like chanting of Scriptures, this Scripture here can be chant first before chanting the other longer or main Taoist Scriptures (according to records, this Scripture is being chant first to get the attention of the Protectors to arrive to do protection on one self before one self do other chanting of longer or main Taoist Scriptures).

瑠璃七寶殿上。
Liu Li Qi Bao Dian Shang.
廣說妙法。
Guang Shuo Miao Fa.
讚歎世間中土男子女人。
Zan Tan Shi Jian Zhong Tu Nan
光如日月。持齋存念真經。

所有非灾橫禍。
Suo You Fei Zai Heng Huo.
盡乞消除。廣布受生。

爾時。
At the time when Supreme Lord explains this Scripture,
太上老君。與八千徒眾。
Supreme Lord & his Eight Thousand over students,
在紫微宮中。
Gathered at Zi Wei Palace,
瑠璃七寶殿上。
In the Liu Li Qi Bao Hall (a hall in Zi Wei Palace with decoration of special & beautiful gems & stones).
廣說妙法。
Supreme Lord starts his explaining on this Scripture.
讚歎世間中土男子女人。
Before he starts, Supreme Lord made a comment of the male & female who born in the Central Land (at that time refers to Ancient China),
光如日月。持齋存念真經。
Shall stay Upright, doing self-cultivation & doing chanting of Scriptures.
所有非灾橫禍。
By doing so, all crisis, misfortune, disasters, etc,
盡乞消除。廣布受生。
Will be eliminated or destroyed.
延年益算。千冤和釋。
Besides that, Life-span will be prolong & debts & sins will be deleted,
萬惡濳藏。灾害不生。
No more misfortune or bad-encounters will happen.
禍亂不作。罪障消沉。
Disasters gone, bad luck gone.
福祥臻集。
While all the bad encounters are being removed, good luck and blessings will be enhanced.
是時。
At this moment,
太上老君。
Supreme Lord.
敕令六甲六丁。
Summoned the 12 Spiritual Generals of Protecting (Liu Ding & Liu Jia), to his side,
守護受經之人。
Supreme Lord ordered them to look after & protect the Mortals who are being imparted with this Scripture or who recite on this Scripture,
常使永無殃咎。
With no disasters happened around them.
疾病不侵。四時平善。
No illnesses infected them & make sure all year round,
八節康寧。盜賊濳藏。
Everything is fine and smooth for them,
妖怪伏匿。
& External disturbance are being removed.
念誦此經。
Constantly recite this Scripture,
一七遍。至二七遍。
For 7 times, 14 times or
乃至三七遍。
21 times,
功德無量。慕道皆成。
Credits & Merits will be recorded and whatever Cultivation one self is practicing will be enhanced.
常令耳目聰明。身強體輕。
Besides that, one self will be blessed with wisdom & good health.
是時。
At this moment,
太上老君。說此真經。
Supreme Lord explaining this Scripture,
救生保命。永無灾障。
It helps to salvage the Mortals from all sorts of sufferings.
生生遇道。世世逢真。
Once the sufferings are being removed or the Mortals are being salvaged, the Real Dao will be bestowed onto the Mortals. Forever, the Mortals will enjoy the Truth & True.
若能抄寫此經。
For those who wished to copy-writing this Scripture &
受持供養。永保平安。
After copy-writing, offered this Scripture to the Deities, one self will be blessed & look-after by the Heaven,
壽算延長。
& again, one self will be blessed with longer Age.
咸仰皈依。信受奉行。
With highest respect, honoured the Supreme Lord & return the gratitude to him.

How to go about chanting this Scripture?
ReplyDeleteDuring the day time, try not to do it after 5.00Pm, make one self clean, calm and peace.
Drink a cup of warm water.
Light incenses and their pay respect to Heaven and any Deities at home.
Report to them that you are going to chant this Scripture (the name of the Scripture).
After putting the incenses into the urn, you can start chanting.
After chanting, make a simply bow to the Heaven & Deities and then leave the spot.
