Sixth Day of Lunar New Year, known as Ma Day (馬日) aka Day of Horse. This is to keep in memory that on this Day, the Universe created Horse.

And so, in the Ancient Era, people will not ride or used the horses on this day, letting the horses rest for a day, unless some very urgent issues happened, then the people would use the horses.

Besides that, in Chinese Custom, the 6th Day is also known as Xia Chun Tian (下春田), translated as Day of Starting Plantation Work, in Hokkien Custom, we address this Day as Yi Fei (浥肥) aka Yiek Pui.

On this Day, the folks will need to start delivering the fertilizers to the Plantation, once the fertilizers are being delivered to the Plantation, the folks will starts to direct in the water supply and water the plants or crops, after that, spreading of fertilizers onto the Plantation.

After returning home from the Plantation, the folks will gather around to have a drink and have some great food, this is to celebrate a New Good Start on the Plantation and hope that at the end of the Year, there will be Good Harvesting.
