The 30th Generation Heavenly Master Zhang Ji Xian (张继先) was born in Song Dynasty (CE1092), others name known as Zhang Zun Zheng (张遵先) or Zhang Dao Zheng (张道正).
At the age of 9, he got the Heavenly Master Title from his Father and ascended the Heavenly Master Throne (於九歲繼承天師之職).
After growing up, due to the assistances that Heavenly Master Zhang Ji Xian provided for the Song Emperor, Song Emperor Hui Zong respected him so much that (得宋朝徽宗之欣賞), at a young age, Heavenly Master Zhang Ji Xian was being summoned to the Imperial Courts to perform the Grand Taoist Ritual 4 times (this is very rare to happen in our Chinese Custom and also the Culture of Taoism 得以入朝舉行可以多達四次).
Once, while the Song Emperor consulted Heavenly Master Zhang Ji Xian about the Empire’s fortune & luck, Heavenly Master Zhang Ji Xian reveal that the Song Empire might encounter some obstacles in near future and within a short period, the obstacles really happened. Due to the prediction and preparation, Song Empire was being saved, from then, the Song Emperor respected him more.
CE1127, Heavenly Master Zhang Ji Xian got his Enlightenment. At that time, he was only 36 years old (於卅六歲得道回天繳旨).
