Xia Yuan Day (下元節) - An Important Day in Taoism

Start:     Nov 24, '07 09:00a
End:     Nov 24, '07 5:00p

Xia Yuan Jie aka Xia Yuan Ri (下元日), the day of Xia Yuan Shui Guan Da Di's Birthday (下元水官大帝千秋日).

In Taoism this is an important day. Besides paying respect to Shui Guan Da Di for blessing and getting rid of other mishaps and unfortune, this is also the day for Taoists to register as a formal Taoist and for students who wanted to be Spiritual Masters/Leaders/Priests to make registration with the Three Realms.

This Year (2007), Long Shan Men (龍山門) will be doing the First Registration for those who have joined and who wanted to join. Once the Petitions are being sent, the people will officially be accepted as the students (disciples) of Long Shan Men.

And our Main Objective: To promote the Culture of Taoism and withhold the right attitude of our Sect - Zheng Yi Sect (天師正一教).

Let's together promote the Culture of Taoism.

  2. Hahahahaha.. of cos anyone can join, as long as the person is sincerely in learning all the Culture of Taoism and promoting the Culture of Zheng Yi Sect.

Long Shan Men is a very old Taoist Group, founded in Late Tang Dynasty by my Ancestor Master Lord Long Yi. In 1900++ came into Singapore and later being forced to stop operating in 1970s.

Only recently then Long Shan Men start to operate again.

As a student or disciple of Long Shan Men, oneself will learn the skills/procedures/knowledge of Taoist Traditional Rituals/Ceremonies/Spiritual Works, etc.

But again, all these will take time and somemore, need the sincerity of the oneself.

  4. Hahahahahaha.. due to I'm still undergoing of looking for a new operation venue, now I operate at home and somemore, the registration for this will take place in Temple not in my home.

For interested parties, you all need to send/PM me your Personal Eight Character, Chinese Name and Residential Address.

All this will be recorded in the Spiritual Petition that will be sent to the Three Realms, 1 copy for Long Shan Men and 1 copy for personal keeping.

  8. Dear All,

Just like to share with all of you here :P

The whole registration was being done successfully and all Students were being Officially accepted by the Three Realms, accept for one of them, last minute, the destination with Long Shan Men being disconnected.

It was a really a successful one and most of the students (from Singapore and Overseas) are being blessed and some of them here got the signal from Heaven after receiving the Registration - Good for them and keep up the Good Work.

Look forward for the next Registration in 2008.

    Good Luck

    Wu Liang Shou.
