That one is Tai Sui, not Tai Bao.

Tai Sui, Deity that in-charge of the Year and Age of all Living beings in the Universe.
ReplyDeleteAs for Tai Bao, they are just assistants to some Main Deities or High Rank Deities in the Deity System.

ReplyDeleteHahahaha.. to us Main Stream Taoism, we do not hav such things as Wu Yin Gui, Qi Yin Jiang or Jiu Yin Jiang, all these are just little ghosts which used to transport or deliver stuffs for the main Nether World Deities, but Wu Dao Jiang Jun is being recorded.

ReplyDeleteTai Bao ia a group of very rare Deities, till today, I have yet to come across any Temples in Asia that dedicate statues to them.
ReplyDeleteBut due to some of them are "over-lapping" with the other groups of Generals, so you can see some of their pics here..
