Some said that Lord Xuan Tian is a manifestation too of the Jade Emperor while some say that he is the 82nd Manifestation of Tai Shang Lao Jun what is true? Or are all this things I've heard made up?
ReplyDeleteHahahaha.. Jade Emperor is the Manifestation of San Qing and after that, Manifest into Xuan Tian, so you can see their relationship.

The San Qing did manifest into many deities like Tai Shang Lao Jun, Si Yu, Pu Hua, Tai Yi, Jade Emperor, and Wu Fang Wu Lao. Who did they manifest first in what order did they manifests these deities? Thank you...
ReplyDeleteTo be accurate, Pu Hua shouldnt be inside the "manifested family", cos he's the 1st thunder roar in this Universe, but due to some contexts/records, he become one of the manifested character :P
ReplyDeleteIf we wil to include Pu Hua, he shall be the 1st, then follow by Si Yu (include Jade Emperor, some will include Tai Yi at this stage), Wu Fang Wu Lao, Wu Fang Wu Di.. usually we dont include Lao Jun in here.
Xuan Tian Shang Di is one of the manifestation of Jade Emperor, what are the other famous deities that are manifestations too of the Jade Emperor?

ReplyDeleteYes, in chinese, we do address him as Bei Di - the Emperor of the North. This title is still widely used in Hong Kong.

In main Stream Taoism, Yu Huang can only be placed at the 3rd position. Up there got San Qing and above San Qing is Yuan Shi Tian Wang.
