Banner of San Guan Da Di Bao Gao (三官大帝寶誥)





San Guan Da Di Bao Gao aka Praise/Invitation Mantra for the Three Lord Emperor of the Three Realms.

They are consider as very important Mantras for all Taoists, Priests or Spiritual Masters while performing Rituals or Ceremonies.

Usually before all other Scriptures are being recited, San Guan Da Di Bao Gao and other high ranking Deities' Bao Gao must be recited.

    San Guan Da Di (三官大帝), Three Lord Emperors that Heavenly Master Zhang Dao Ling (正一天師張道陵) respected alot during the Han Dynasty (漢朝時期).

    During that Era, when Mortals met with disasters or illnesses, Master Zhang Dao Ling would advise the folks to pay respect to San Guan Da Di for the releasing of blessings and eliminating of all the negative entities.

    Till today, San Guan Da Di are still being widely respect by all Taoists, Priests and Spiritual Masters locally and Overseas.

    Hi Shifu, I have 2 questions:

    1. how high is the rank of San Guan Da Di compared to Tai Yi Tian Zun, Pu Hua Tian Zun and Dou Mu Yuan Jun?
    2. Three Realms means "Heaven, Earth and Water" and not "Heaven, Earth and Human"?

    Hi Yang,

    San Guan is a level lower than Tai Yi, Pu Hua, Yu Huang & also Dou Mu.

    Yes, is Water not Human. Human is considered in the Earth Realm.
