Master Zhang Yuan Xian was being appointed as the 64 Generation Heavenly Master in year 1971 after his uncle, the 63rd Generation Heavenly Master Zhang En Pu got enlightenment in 1969.
The 64th Generation Heavenly Master is now in Taiwan.

They are here to promote Taoism and also to look into the registration of people who make vows and requests to be a Taoist Priest under Zheng Yi Sect.
ReplyDeleteTheir tasks and main objectives are the same as the 1st Generation - Zhang Dao Ling, to educate and spread Taoism to all mortals in this world.

Yes, all Heavenly Masters, after passing-off, they will hold a title in the Celestial Court, meaning becoming a Deity or Immortal.
ReplyDeleteJust like all Priests, if they do cultivate oneself and behave according to our Taoist Rules and Regulations, after passing-off, we will gain a little title in somewhere in the 3 realms :P
